Drawing was Shira Barzilay's first love. Fashion, was her second. Her career as KOKETIT began as a graphic designer, turned illustrator, turned artist.
Her unique point of view and signature style has been years in the making.
At age 17, Shira became a fashion design student at the Shenkar institute of design in Tel Aviv, Israel. After graduation, she worked as a freelance fashion illustrator first locally and gradually working for brands such as Roberto Cavalli and H&M.
A few year forward, Shira founded her brand "KOKETIT. It first served as an online shop for temporary tattoos designed by her, for those with commitment issues (such as herself). With time, the brand evolved into a mixed hub of product and service all encapsulating the signature hand and style of KOKETIT. Through out it all, Instagram has always been a constant and major tool in helping grow Koketit's world. With over 137K followers, she is dedicated to post creative, exciting content to her feed, that is thought provoking and visually striking.
"Koketit" the brand, offers services as well as products. One of the most exciting projects is "Illustration live" where Shira creates on-the-spot portraits of guests at different events and functions. Over the past two years, she was illustrated for Chanel, Anthropologie, facebook, Amazon and many more.
Shira currently resides in Tel Aviv, Israel and is living with her beloved dog – Bono.
She is an animal loving proud vegan, swears by ASMR and her favorite food is pickles. favorite sport: Ski. Favorite smell: freshly cut grass. Addicted to US politics and is a firm believer is self education.
As well as the Koketit brand, she has been serving as graphic editor for "GOstyle Magazine" for the past 13 years.
